Could you make it from Sheffield to Monte Carlo in an old banger?

This summer AMI will be joining with up to 40 teams to take the ultimate challenge, to take part in the UK’s first art on wheels tour “banger rally”. The teams will travel 1200 miles from Sheffield to Monte Carlo in a car worth £650 or less! – That’s right a car worth a maximum of £650!!

AMI-CO are to taking part in this fantastic opportunity and all proceeds will be going the distance to help put an end to youth homelessness by supporting Roundabout.

    January – Official Launch of Bangers and Cash

    February – Call to artists to submit designs

    March – Businesses choose their design

    March – April – Businesses purchase their cars

    April – June – Artists paint their bonnets / Businesses to get ready for the rally

    August – Exhibition goes on display in the Winter Gardens

    21st September – The Adventure begins

    24th September – Rally ends in Monaco, then it’s over to Nice for the celebration party

    October – The bonnet auction takes place
